Intertwining, interweaving, relating to create a fabric. Textile narratives pass through the body and emotions, generating resonances. Textiles touch the viewer in an embodied and emotional way, creating connections and understanding where before there was ignorance or even enmity.

Textile narratives become pedagogical tools with great communicative potential, which can be used and recreated in different contexts. This is our invitation.

Not all of us knew how to embroider. We learned along the way.

These tutorials that we share here helped us a lot when we started.

We can use them in classes with our students, in our homes with the family or in activities with community groups – so that we can all learn to narrate with cloth, thread and needle.
