The children, some the relatives of ex-combatants and others of peasants from Llano Grande, highlight the value of living in a peaceful place. When the ex-combatants arrived at the ETCR in this area they were still carrying weapons, and the school, a preferred meeting place in the rural communities of Colombia, was a point of reference for the changes to come.
