(Un-) Stitching Gazes invites you to get to know the stories of peace signatories who were part of the FARC-EP, including the perspectives of their relatives and new neighbours, in dialogue with some academic analyses. Textile metaphor and practice run through each section of this platform, to un-stitch and restitch views on others and on ourselves.

This website is a result of the work of the international collaborative research project “(Un-) Stitching the Subjects of Colombia’s Reconciliation Process”, jointly financed by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation in Colombia, Minciencias (project reference FP44842-282-2018) and Newton Fund, UK (project reference AH/R01373X/1). It is collaboratively implemented by the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Antioquia (Medellín, Colombia), the Department of International Politics at Aberystwyth University (Wales, United Kingdom), and the Association of Victims and Survivors of Northeast Antioquia (ASOVISNA, Colombia).
