Trust is consolidated in transformation processes that take shape in the rural areas: infrastructure that benefits both ex-combatants and native communities, and that is co-managed by the two groups, is a concrete expression of reconciliation processes. But the book also shows that recognition emerges from the body and involves emotions, suggesting that the peace agreement with the FARC is a real possibility for transformation from below.
